Trophy Montana Antelope

Southeast Montana Trophy Antelope Hunt

Southeast Montana Trophy Antelope Hunt

Here at DTO we also offer Southeastern Montana Antelope Hunts! These hunts take place from our Hulett, WY Lodge location where we travel across the border into Montana! Antelope hunting in Montana at Devils Tower Outfitters is a premier hunting experience for those seeking a quality hunt for trophy antelope in the vast openness of Southeastern Montana. Our area is known for its abundance of quality antelope, making it a prime location for an enjoyable and successful hunt.

The antelope rut, which typically begins in late September, is an exciting time for hunters. During the rut, antelope are active and on the move, providing ample opportunities for a successful hunt. At DTO, we offer both archery and rifle hunting options to accommodate a variety of hunting styles. During archery season, we typically hunt from ground blinds near water sources and fence crossings unless one is hunting the rut, where we then decoy and spot/stalk. As rifle season approaches, we shift to mainly spot/stalk unless one wishes to sit still!

Our experienced guides have the knowledge and equipment necessary to help you succeed on your hunt. They will work with you to determine the best hunting strategy and help you get into position for a safe and ethical shot. We encourage all hunters to come prepared to shoot 250 yards, but if you cannot, no big deal, we will help you out and get within your comfort range! Our private land also creates a very low-stress area for antelope hunting and we manage these proporties very strictly for high success hunt!

What to Expect on Your Hunt

What to Expect on Your Hunt

When you arrive at Devils Tower Outfitters for your antelope hunting trip, you'll settle in for the night and have dinner before getting a good night's sleep in preparation for the hunt at daybreak. You'll start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to the field to begin your hunt. Being our Lodge is located in Wyoming, we will have roughly a 1 hour drive up to our leases in Montana. Hunting is flexible and can be tailored to the needs of the individual hunter. You can choose to hunt in the mornings or afternoons, or all day if you prefer. Hunting all day is highly beneficial, as it increases your chances of success.

For those who hunt all day, lunch will be served in the field, allowing you to stay on the move and not waste any valuable hunting time. After the morning hunt, you can return to the lodge for lunch and a break before heading back out in the afternoon. Dinner is served at the lodge each evening and you can expect anything from steaks to pork chops and burgers to ribs!
