When many hunters think of Montana, they often times think of Mule Deer Hunting in some of the most open territory there is! Let me tell you, this is no joke...its open and you can see for miles but it is one heck of a fun spot/stalk style hunt! Our mule deer population has continued to grow over the last few years making us very fortunate to have a solid number to hunt each year! Our Mule Deer hunts are ran from our Wyoming Lodge where we then will travel roughly 1 hour North to our Private leases and begin your quest for a Trophy Montana Muley! We do not currently have a size restriction but do manage different areas for different caliber bucks offering both trophy and management quality hunts! We encourage hunters to come prepared to shoot 250 yards, as much of Southeastern Montana is fairly open and being able to shoot out there a ways can also be a bonus!
You can expect to arrive to camp the evening before your first day of hunting to enjoy a nice home cooked meal and get settled in! The following morning your hunt will begin. On the majority of our mule deer hunts one can expect to hunt mornings and evenings, however, for the true die hard, we will hunt all day! Breakfast will be served each morning after the morning hunt. If you chose to be out all day, a sack lunch will be provided. After the evening hunt has concluded, dinner will be served where you can expect everything from steaks to pork chops, burgers to ribs, and pasta to chicken! All mule deer hunts are spot/stalk style.
