For our Archery hunts, one can expect to hunt bugling bulls, "run n gun" style or early season hunting over water sources. Mid to late September the rut reaches its peak and one never knows what you may get into! These hunts are for the true elk enthusiast! These fully guided hunts are action packed and your guide will assist along the way to get you within your desired shooting distance. Many days are spent calling elk, if your not a caller, no worries, our guides are and will do the work for you!
For rifle hunting, many hunts begin with glassing hillsides, looking into canyon bottoms and glassing open meadows to spot elk herds. Your experienced guide will also lead you through the challenging terrain, help you navigate the best path to get into position for a shot, and provide expert tips on how to stay downwind and get close enough for a clean and ethical shot.
All hunting trips are conducted using the spot and stalk method, allowing you to spot and stalk the elk through rugged wilderness. This style of hunting adds to the thrill and excitement of the hunt, as well as the challenge of successfully spotting and taking down an elk.

Our guided elk trips at Devils Tower Outfitters are all one-on-one hunts without any additional fees which creates the ultimate elk hunting experience and no surprises along the way.
During the month of September, when the rut is in full swing, the woods come alive with the sounds of bugling bulls and cow calling. This is an action-packed time to hunt, as elk are constantly on the move. As a hunter, you'll be right in the middle of the action, constantly on the move and chasing elk as they run through the forests.
Working with a dedicated guide, you'll have their full attention and support as you navigate the challenging terrain in search of your elk. This is a full-day hunt, so be prepared for long hours in the field and the physical demands that come with hunting elk. But the excitement and adrenaline of chasing elk through the woods will make it all worth it, we promise you that!
Our low stress hunting area offers a unique and peaceful environment for hunters. With limited hunting pressure, the elk are less wary and more likely to be in their natural patterns, making them easier to spot and stalk.
